ECONOMICS FOR CHILDREN, a book by Ranganayakamma. Get ECONOMICS FOR CHILDREN Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download ECONOMICS FOR CHILDREN books, From childhood, children need games, songs, stories and many more things. Though the stories are full of fantasies and superstitions, the children must also receive scientific facts along with these. Science is a knowledge which elucidates the real matters with proofs regarding the nature that we exist in and the society that we live in. Children are innocent. They learn and trust in what is told to them by the elders at home and at school. The elders will convey to their children what they have learnt from their elders. They teach the children only what they were taught. Children or adults, they will start to think only when they receive scientific knowledge. One need not learn all the aspects of science related to Nature. Every person need not thoroughly learn the medical sciences. It would suffice if they are familiar with the routine hygiene principles to practice on a daily basis. When ailments descend on people, the clinicians will take care of the diseases. Every person need not have the medical knowledge as much as clinicians do. This also applies to the other natural sciences. However, this is not the case with the science that teaches us regarding the society that we live in. We are human beings, not animals. The animals are born and are dead the same way as they were born. They do not need any kind of science or knowledge. The human being, however, must know about human relations. The Economic Science explains relations among humans and their ways of living. This is the science that portrays the lives of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Every person must be aware of this knowledge.

Jesus and the Laws of Purity, a book by Roger P. Booth. Get Jesus and the Laws of Purity Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download Jesus and the Laws of Purity books, The principal concern of this book is to show how uncovering the history of legal development can serve as a control for the conclusions of tradition history. In this groundbreaking study, the author brings his own professional experience as a lawyer to bear upon questions of Jewish law and of Gospel criticism. Dr Booth first establishes redaction-critically and form-critically which elements of Mark 7.1-23 are to be assigned to Mark, which to the early church, and which to the probable legal disputes of Jesus with the Pharisees. Then he charts the history of the purity laws, determining which legal statements in the text are credible in the situation of AD 30. This methodologically original approach enables him to formulate telling criticisms of some current procedures and conclusions of traditio-historical and form-critical scholars.

The Second Epistle to the Corinthians, a book by Paul Barnett. Get The Second Epistle to the Corinthians Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download The Second Epistle to the Corinthians books, This statement reflects the underlying purpose of The New International Commentary on the New Testament. Begun in the late 1940s by an international team of New Testament scholars, the NICNT series has become recognized by pastors, students, and scholars alike as a critical yet orthodox commentary marked by solid biblical scholarship within the evangelical Protestant tradition. While based on a thorough study of the Greek text, the commentary introductions and expositions contain a minimum of Greek references. The NICNT authors evaluate significant textual problems and take into account the most important exegetical literature. More technical aspects — such as grammatical, textual, and historical problems — are dealt with in footnotes, special notes, and appendixes. Under the general editorship of three outstanding New Testament scholars — first Ned Stonehouse (Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia), then F. F. Bruce (University of Manchester, England), and now Gordon D. Fee (Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia) — the NICNT series has continued to develop over the years. In order to keep the commentary “new” and conversant with contemporary scholarship, the NICNT volumes have been — and will be — revised or replaced as necessary. The newer NICNT volumes in particular take into account the role of recent rhetorical and sociological inquiry in elucidating the meaning of the text, and they also exhibit concern for the theology and application of the text. As the NICNT series is ever brought up to date, it will continue to find ongoing usefulness as an established guide to the New Testament text.

The Institutes of Justinian. Translated into English with an Index. Fifth Edition. Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1913. viii, 220 pp. Reprinted 2002 by The Lawbook Exchange, Ltd. LCCN 2001041401. ISBN 1-58477-185-2. Cloth. $90. * An English translation, with a thorough index, of Justinian's Institutes. After assuming the throne of the East Roman or Byzantine Empire in 527, Justinian (Favius Petrus Sabbatius Justinianus) [A.D. 483-565] sought to revise the most important legal writings of the original republic and empire, including the body of laws that had accumulated during the last 300 years. His revision of the Institutes of Gaius [c.A.D. 115-c.180] is perhaps the most significant volume to emerge from this program. Written around A.D. 161, it is an elementary treatise on Roman private law that served as a standard text for 300 years. Justinian's revision brought the original up to date while maintaining its qualities of clear exposition and perspicuous judgment. It was later combined with three other revisions, the Digest, Code, and Novels to form the Corpus Juris Civilis, a profound influence on European law from the tenth century onwards. Walker, The Oxford Companion to Law 511, 696.

Download The Meaning of "Make Disciples" in the Broader Context of the Gospel of Matthew books, Students of the Bible are generally comfortable with their understanding of the command “make disciples” (Matt 28:19). Indeed, most of them would argue that the Gospel writer, Matthew, spells out very clearly the meaning of the term in the Great Commission (Matt 28:16–20) by utilizing three key words, viz., “go[ing],” “baptizing,” and “teaching.” This point of view is the result of centuries of scholarly opinion that has looked primarily, if not solely, to these three adjacent participles of “make disciples” (Matt 28:19), and not to the entire Gospel of Matthew, for the meaning of the command. This book does not suggest that “going,” “baptizing,” and “teaching” are not to be considered in determining the essence of Christian disciple-making. Rather, it contends that the three terms should not be our only source of meaning. This problem is tackled herein by demonstrating that Matthew establishes a framework within the Great Commission itself that points to a fuller meaning of “make disciples” in the broader context of his Gospel, and that the Gospel writer expects his reader to draw on his entire Gospel to grasp the full meaning of this important command.

Download The Spirit of Christ in Human Brains and Neurosurgery books, There is no doubt in my mind that the Spirit of God is connected to the human brain within the skull. The human brain is not limited to the boundaries of the skull. Instead, it goes beyond the physical barriers of our planet and into the spiritual world. My Christian faith, as a Coptic Egyptian Orthodox, was the main reason I chose to be a neurosurgeon. It is in this way how my soul becomes closer to Lord Jesus Christ. I have devoted my life and withstood a very long journey in medicine and neuroscience, leaving my home country of Egypt and coming to America to strive in the difficult fields of neurological surgery, neuroscience, and anesthesiology. Every day my soul learns more and more about my Lord Jesus. I see him in my patients, in my surgeries, and in my surroundings. Deep within the brain lies the Spirit of Christ. As the author, I explore not only the connectivity of the human brain with the Spirit of God but also the Spirit of Christ in my neurosurgery practice. My human brain continues to be both thirsty and hungry for more and more of his eternal love. In this present book of sixty-five chapters, much of my soul I wish to share with you, the beloved reader. A section is designated to my most recent neurosurgery patients testimonials and experiences. Another section reflects upon the biblical words used during President Donald Trumps inauguration and Melanias speech and the presidents visit to the Middle East for peace.

18 Minutes with Jesus, a book by Dr. Robert Jeffress. Get 18 Minutes with Jesus Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download 18 Minutes with Jesus books, Did you know you can read Jesus's Sermon on the Mount in about 18 minutes? Yet packed into this short talk are more life-changing and startlingly original teachings than anywhere else in Scripture. In it, Jesus dives past the surface into the heart of what we need and desire--from God, ourselves, and one another. It's the spiritual straight talk we need about the things that matter most in life. Drawing from decades of study, Dr. Robert Jeffress breaks down Jesus's most well-known (yet least-followed) teachings about happiness, faith, relationships, sex, reconciliation, prayer, money, and more. He shows how we often misunderstand and misapply these verses and unpacks exactly what Jesus was teaching us about our own hearts and minds. If you long to take your Christian walk to the next level, it's time to grasp these biblical truths that have the power to change your life.

The Pauline Letters, a book by David Oliver Smith. Get The Pauline Letters Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download The Pauline Letters books, In The Pauline Letters: A Rhetorical Analysis, David Oliver Smith unveils his revolutionary discovery that the apostle Paul divided his letters into structured literary units as he wrote them. These literary units are based upon repeated words, phrases, and abstract concepts and are invariably patterned into chiastic, parallel, or hybrid structures. Using his technique of rhetorical analysis, Smith sets out each literary unit in the seven undisputed letters of Paul. After the structures of the literary units have been exposed, the units reveal interpolations that disrupt Paul’s original structure. When the interpolations revealed by this technique are compared with interpolations heretofore proposed by Pauline scholars, there are some surprising results. Smith also uses his technique to analyze the Deutero-Pauline letters to determine whether any of those letters exhibit the same literary attributes as the undisputed letters.

Download Iamblichus: On the General Science of Mathematics books, On the General Science of Mathematics is the third of four surviving works out of ten by Iamblichus (c. 245 CE–early 320s) on the Pythagoreans. He thought the Pythagoreans had treated mathematics as essential for drawing the human soul upwards to higher realms described by Plato, and downwards to understand the physical cosmos, the products of arts and crafts and the order required for an ethical life. His Pythagorean treatises use edited quotation to re-tell the history of philosophy, presenting Plato and Aristotle as passing on the ideas invented by Pythagoras and his early followers. Although his quotations tend to come instead from Plato and later Pythagoreanising Platonists, this re-interpretation had a huge impact on the Neoplatonist commentators in Athens. Iamblichus' cleverness, if not to the same extent his re-interpretation, was appreciated by the commentators in Alexandria.
